Salary: Competitive rates

Part time 2.5-3 days per week depending on location for 12 months

Based: London, Washington DC/New York, Utrecht

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and motivated individual to plan, shape and fundraise for a global multi-year campaign to foster greater political and public support for peacebuilding.

This campaign is being backed by a number of the World’s leading peacebuilding organisations and the positon holder will have a unique access to senior decision makers across the consortium.

You will be responsible for developing a campaign identity and strategy, planning and implementing initial activities and crucially fundraising to sustain the campaign. You will also build relationships with key external stakeholders whilst also coordinating with participating organisations. The coordinator will expand the network of organisations involved, particularly in the global south. Key responsibilities will include:

·        Collaborative development of and agreement on a Theory of Change for the campaign

·        Mapping of successful campaigns in spaces comparable to peacebuilding

·        Multi-year campaign strategy and workplan developed in consultation with participating organisations, including through consultations/visits

·        Development of and agreement on common identity, visuals, messages and positions

·        Expansion of participating organisations, particularly in the Global South, through, networking, consultationsand visits

·        Two initial joint activities undertaken to engage political actors and the general public

·        Supporting and shaping fundraising efforts by the consortium to sustain the campaign

Location of the position and organisational reporting relationship will be influenced by where the successful candidate is currently based.
